FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in monitoring budgets, financial modeling, and forecasting for various business lines at Influur.

• Create financial models that are well-structured and include documented assumptions.

• Analyze and interpret financial data to aid leadership in making informed decisions.

• Utilize financial modeling principles for budgeting, contingency planning, rebudgeting cycles, and preparing investor-grade reports.

• Collaborate directly with the FP&A Lead.

• Gain a thorough understanding of Influur's financial structure, reporting schedules, and modeling standards.

• Manage the process of tracking monthly budget versus actuals.

• Participate in at least one complete rebudget cycle.

• Implement AI tools in reporting and modeling workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, financial consulting, or a similar analytical role.

• Proven financial modeling skills — capable of constructing a model from scratch with a clean structure and documented assumptions.

• Proficiency in Advanced (Intermediate) Excel / Google Sheets — adept with formulas, structuring data, and comfortable working without a template.

• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting, along with an understanding of the connections between the three financial statements.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficient in English, with a level of B2 or higher (written, spoken, and reading).

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with multi-business-unit or multi-entity P&L environments.

• Interest in exploring AI tools in the finance sector.

• Experience in supporting investor reporting or preparing materials for board-level reviews.

• Background in startups or high-growth companies.
