This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of recruiting at Swans and expand the team from approximately a dozen individuals to over 30 by the end of 2027.
• Establish the recruiting function from the ground up, encompassing processes, tools, and eventually, a recruiting team.
• Recruit across various functions including product engineering, legal engineering, onboarding and delivery, client success, consulting, support, marketing, executive assistance, and event planning.
• Manage the complete hiring process from candidate sourcing to the offer stage.
• Evaluate a high volume of incoming candidates and conduct initial screening calls.
• Create candidate evaluations that encompass name, compensation expectations, availability, location, call recording, and personal insights.
• Conduct second and third interviews for candidates who progress in the hiring process.
• Primarily engage in outbound sourcing utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Wellfound, and other platforms.
• Oversee and manage the Ashby ATS.
• Identify and connect with hard-to-reach, predominantly passive AI-native engineers.
• Gather weekly feedback, calibrate based on insights received, and refine recruiting judgment and processes.
• Report directly to Max, the CEO.
• Collaborate with Max to design the recruiting bonus scorecard during the first month.
• Minimum of 3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally in a startup environment.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end hiring processes, from sourcing candidates to making offers.
• Ability to manage multiple candidate profiles and handle five or six open roles simultaneously is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in outbound sourcing, including attracting candidates who are not actively seeking new opportunities.
• Capacity to act swiftly, test different strategies, and learn through trial and error.
• Strong judgment in assessing candidates and making well-founded hiring decisions.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to write clear and concise candidate assessments.
• Skill in conducting interviews confidently and effectively.
• Comfortable working amidst ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities.
• Evidence of initiative and exceeding expectations, such as independently building, managing, fixing, or selling a project.
• Experience in hiring for a variety of roles rather than specializing in a single function.
• Willingness to acquire enough technical terminology to effectively communicate with AI-native engineers.
• Readiness to manage a high-volume recruitment desk, conduct full hiring processes, and make hiring calls.
• Availability to overlap with European working hours to collaborate closely with the team.
• Base salary of €65,000.
• Performance-based bonus of up to €20,000.
