Founding Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• This position is not suited for someone who merely implements mockups.

• We seek a designer capable of assessing existing designs, comprehending business and customer needs, identifying areas for enhancement, and offering insightful design solutions.

• You will collaborate closely with the founders, engineers, and customers to develop intuitive workflows and enterprise-quality user experiences that simplify the understanding and actioning of complex data and operational processes.

• Assist in establishing design principles and standards throughout the platform.

• Design comprehensive user journeys and workflows.

• Generate wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

• Perform usability assessments and suggest enhancements.

• Streamline intricate operational and analytical workflows into user-friendly experiences.

• Develop and maintain scalable design systems in Figma.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or User Experience roles.

• A robust portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work.

• Advanced skills in Figma.

• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design systems.

• A solid grasp of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design.

• Experience working directly with engineering teams.

• Ability to articulate design decisions and their justifications clearly.

• Preferred qualifications: Experience in designing SaaS, enterprise software, analytics platforms, operational tools, or workflow applications; Experience in startup or early-stage environments; Familiarity with data-intensive applications, dashboards, and reporting tools; Experience in conducting customer interviews and usability testing; Understanding of AI-enabled products and workflow automation.
