Founding Engineer – Lead Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical leadership for ThrivoOS

• Establish the architecture

• Oversee freelance senior engineers

• Collaborate directly with the CTO to determine architecture and technology stack

• Design and implement an event-sourced backend architecture

• Develop a multi-tenant data architecture

• Create an advisory workflow engine

• Integrate AI technologies

• Cultivate the engineering culture from the outset

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in backend engineering for production systems

• Practical knowledge of Event Sourcing and CQRS

• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL

• Experience with AWS or a comparable hyperscaler

• Background in regulated environments

• Must be senior enough to independently make architectural decisions

• Located in the CET timezone
