Founder, Design Accelerator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute a comprehensive design and research process for a startup concept of your choosing.

• Develop digital products and services from the ground up.

• Oversee product and feature scoping along with project management.

• Identify target markets and strategically position products for successful launches.

• Integrate AI tools into UX design and conceptualize AI features and products.

• Grasp AI functionalities and promote ethical design practices in AI.

• Create scalable business models for various products or services.

• Lead discovery research, which includes recruitment, crafting research plans, developing interview guides, conducting 8–16 interviews, and synthesizing findings.

• Present UX design and business pitches using both qualitative and quantitative data.

• Generate personas, stakeholder maps, journey maps, process maps, service blueprints, sketches, wireframes, workflows, prototypes, and other visual deliverables.

• Direct user testing and iterate designs to enhance usability.

• Develop a design system, including components, style guides, and branding.

• Analyze both direct and indirect competitors while clearly defining solution differentiators.

• Provide consultancy to startups regarding UX research, UX design, product design, and service design efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Open to recent graduates and individuals transitioning into UX careers.

• Eager to launch a digital application, AI application, or a digital business/startup.

• Willing to dedicate 5–10 hours each week to fulfill program deliverables.

• Available to attend 2–3 hour weekend lectures or complete online video course modules.

• Open to receiving feedback from mentors and willing to revise design work accordingly.

• Required to submit a LinkedIn profile and resume with the application.

• Must undergo a brief interview process if selected for contact.

• No UX resume or portfolio is necessary.
