This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Oversee and manage the onboarding process for new strategic clients, offering training and resources to ensure long-term success.
• Deliver technical assistance by diagnosing and resolving issues within Tailscale’s platform.
• Support configuration, integration, and troubleshooting efforts to guarantee smooth implementation.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews that address usage, success metrics, and future objectives.
• Recognize opportunities for enhanced customer engagement and horizontal growth.
• Cultivate customer relationships as a trusted advisor, recommending best practices based on use cases and business results.
• Communicate customer feedback and insights to product and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, and support teams during handoffs, escalations, and customer success initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and guides for customer self-service.
• Share insights and best practices with both customers and internal teams.
• Minimum of 6 years in a technical role, including at least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing capacity.
• Proven experience working with enterprise clients in a consultative role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, VPNs, and security principles.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and various DevOps technologies.
• Previous customer-facing technical experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Solutions Engineer/Architect, or Customer Success Engineer within a SaaS organization.
• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and troubleshooting abilities for intricate technical issues.
• Proficient in managing multiple customer accounts, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining project timelines.
• Strong time management and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across product, sales, and engineering teams.
