Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with enterprise clients to comprehend their business challenges and pinpoint AI opportunities.

• Create, develop, and implement AI-driven applications utilizing Google Cloud and Generative AI technologies.

• Construct solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, AI agents, APIs, and enterprise data platforms.

• Develop scalable backend services, integrations, and cloud-native applications.

• Facilitate technical workshops, architecture discussions, and solution design sessions with clients.

• Quickly prototype, test, and refine AI use cases to enhance business value.

• Work alongside product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to produce production-ready solutions.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to standards for scalability, security, reliability, and performance.

• Assist in customer deployments and act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging AI and cloud technologies, fostering innovation throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 1–4 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, machine learning, or technical consulting.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, Next JS, Go, JavaScript, or similar languages.

• Background in building applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Experience with Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, AI agents, and prompt engineering.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, GKE, and related technologies.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to work independently and excel in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.

• Experience in delivering enterprise AI, analytics, automation, or digital transformation solutions.

• Practical experience with Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworks.

• Exposure to solution architecture, technical consulting, or customer-facing engineering positions.

• An MBA from a prestigious institution or experience collaborating closely with business stakeholders is a plus.
