Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deploy the Hermes Agent Enterprise in various environments, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid setups for customers.

• Integrate enterprise APIs, internal data sources, authentication mechanisms, and business applications into the workflows of the agent.

• Collaborate closely with customers to define requirements, implement solutions, and refine them based on feedback.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across infrastructure, orchestration, integrations, and AI application layers.

• Develop reusable deployment patterns, tools, and best practices to enhance implementation speed and reliability.

• Work alongside engineering and research teams to shape product direction according to customer needs.

• Enhance deployment observability, monitoring, and operational tools to support production AI systems.

• Document deployment architectures, integration manuals, and customer implementation methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering or solutions engineering, specializing in the development and deployment of production systems.

• Proven experience collaborating directly with enterprise customers or cross-functional stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.

• Strong debugging capabilities across distributed systems, backend services, and cloud infrastructures.

• Comfort working across backend engineering, infrastructure, APIs, and AI application layers.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convert complex technical concepts into actionable customer solutions.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to excel in dynamic and ambiguous environments.

• Nice to have: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and contemporary cloud infrastructures.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, RAG systems, or model orchestration frameworks.

• Nice to have: Experience in integrating enterprise systems such as CRMs, data warehouses, internal APIs, or identity providers.

• Nice to have: A track record of delivering customer-facing technical solutions in enterprise or infrastructure-focused settings.
