Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and develop comprehensive full-stack AI applications, agentic systems, and production-ready AI infrastructure.

• Create user-facing interfaces utilizing TypeScript and React.

• Construct backend services and APIs using Python or Node.

• Implement agentic functionalities, including orchestration, tool and function invocation, memory management, and guardrails.

• Develop RAG pipelines that encompass data ingestion, chunking, embeddings, and both vector and hybrid search.

• Integrate AI systems with enterprise data and applications through APIs, semantic layers, and protocols such as MCP.

• Compose evaluation suites and regression tests for features powered by LLM.

• Oversee cost, latency, and quality metrics in production environments.

• Employ version control, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and observability tools.

• Deploy applications on cloud infrastructures such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.

• Construct and manage data pipelines that supply AI systems.

• Utilize Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Cursor on a daily basis, including verification and review processes.

• Communicate project progress, trade-offs, and obstacles to clients and project leads.

• Assist in pre-sales activities through solution scoping, demonstrations, and effort estimation.

• Mentor junior engineers in their development.

• Contribute to internal accelerators, reusable components, and engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software or data engineering.

• Significant hands-on experience with AI tools and LLM-based development in the past year.

• Proficient programming skills in Python and TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Experience in building and consuming APIs.

• Front-end development experience with React or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with at least one backend framework.

• Practical experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector search.

• Experience with at least one agentic framework, including LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK, Claude Agent SDK, or OpenAI Agents SDK.

• Deep expertise in at least one major AI platform ecosystem: Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI.

• Practical experience with at least one cloud platform: GCP, Azure, or AWS.

• Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.

• Proficiency with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Cursor.

• Professional proficiency in English at C1 or C2 level minimum.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• A certification in at least one major AI platform or cloud is required within the first two months if not already obtained.

• Availability during US business hours is essential.

• An updated resume is required.

• A GitHub link or portfolio showcasing AI systems or full-stack projects that have been built and deployed in production.

• A 1–2 minute Loom video introducing yourself and discussing a production AI system you have owned end-to-end, including aspects of evaluation and reliability.
