Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and develop full-stack AI applications, agentic systems, and production-ready AI infrastructure.

• Create user-facing interfaces using TypeScript and React, along with backend services and APIs in Python or Node.

• Implement agentic functionalities including orchestration, tool and function invocation, memory management, and guardrails.

• Construct retrieval-augmented generation pipelines that encompass ingestion, chunking, embeddings, as well as vector and hybrid search.

• Integrate AI systems with enterprise data and applications through APIs, semantic layers, and protocols like MCP.

• Develop evaluation suites and regression tests for LLM-driven features, monitoring costs, latency, and quality in a production environment.

• Utilize version control, conduct code reviews, implement automated testing, CI/CD, and ensure observability.

• Deploy on GCP, Azure, or AWS and oversee data pipelines that support AI systems.

• Regularly use Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Cursor with proper verification and review.

• Communicate updates, trade-offs, and obstacles to clients and project leads.

• Assist in pre-sales activities through solution scoping, demonstrations, and effort estimations.

• Mentor junior engineers and participate in internal accelerators, reusable components, and engineering standards.

• Engage with clients directly across various enterprise industries.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software or data engineering, with significant hands-on usage of AI tools and LLM-based development in the past year.

• Proficient programming skills in Python and TypeScript or JavaScript, along with experience in building and consuming APIs.

• Familiarity with front-end development in React or similar frameworks, and experience with at least one backend framework.

• Practical expertise in RAG, embeddings, and vector search, as well as experience with at least one agentic framework such as LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK, Claude Agent SDK, or OpenAI Agents SDK.

• Deep knowledge in at least one major AI platform ecosystem: Google (Gemini, Vertex AI), Anthropic (Claude, MCP), or OpenAI (Responses API, AgentKit).

• Experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS), including building and maintaining data pipelines.

• Proficient with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Cursor.

• Professional English proficiency at a minimum of C1 or C2 level.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• A certification in at least one major AI platform or cloud is mandatory within the first two months if not already obtained.

• An updated resume is required.

• A GitHub link or portfolio demonstrating AI systems or full-stack projects developed and deployed in production, focusing on agentic or LLM-powered work.

• A 1–2 minute Loom video introducing yourself, showcasing one production AI system you have owned end-to-end, and explaining evaluation and reliability.

• Both a portfolio and Loom video are essential to proceed to the next stage of the hiring process.
