Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and execution of integrations, automations, and customizations within DevRev and the workflows of customers.

• Employ advanced AI methodologies, such as Generative AI, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning for semantic search to address intricate customer challenges.

• Perform complex data analyses, write sophisticated SQL queries, and generate dashboards to influence strategic decision-making.

• Actively manage communication and feedback mechanisms with all involved parties, including customers, engineering, product, and customer success teams.

• Guide junior engineers and participate in knowledge sharing and maintaining technical excellence within the team.

• Investigate and integrate new technologies to enhance platform functionalities and customer solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

• Extensive practical coding experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, APIs, Webhooks, and SQL.

• Strong background in Generative AI, LLMs, vector databases, and data embeddings.

• Demonstrated capability to create scalable, maintainable, and customer-centric solutions.

• Exceptional communication abilities in English, both in writing and speaking.

• Results-driven, self-motivated, and adept in a fast-paced, global environment.

• A passion for tackling challenging problems and delivering impactful solutions.

• Familiarity with Golang, NodeJS, or other backend technologies is advantageous.

• Previous experience in customer-facing solution engineering or consulting.
