Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop solutions that connect client systems with Anduin's platform.

• Ensure effective data flow between systems.

• Implement the logic for digitizing subscription forms, a core aspect of Anduin's product.

• Lead efforts in understanding client problems, designing integrations, and advising clients until successful outcomes are achieved.

• Define and deliver dependable integrations for investment firms, law firms, hedge funds, and other prestigious clients.

• Proactively manage client expectations and nurture strong client relationships.

• Facilitate exploratory meetings with clients to gather in-depth context before proposing solutions.

• Analyze clients' CRMs, data models, and workflows to pinpoint areas of friction.

• Provide guidance on enhancing data structures to strengthen integrations.

• Develop customized solutions for clients and recognize patterns that can be repeated.

• Promote the generalization of these repeatable patterns into platform capabilities.

• Collaborate closely with Digitization Consultants, Specialists, and QA Engineers on the digitization of subscription forms.

• Work in partnership with teams from the US and Vietnam offices.

• Align priorities, relay field intelligence back to product and engineering teams, and advocate for enhancements to the platform.

• Create AI-powered internal tools to enhance team productivity.

• Interact with clients and US teams during standard business hours.

• Engage with offshore teams in Vietnam during evenings when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with a proven ability to independently own and deploy production systems.

• Capability to simplify complex issues and make timely, informed decisions under pressure.

• Practical experience in various integration domains, including database management systems, SFTP, SMTP, and enterprise SSO.

• Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, leading solution discussions, translating technical concepts, and professionally troubleshooting issues.

• Excellent communication skills across different time zones.

• Strong product insight with the ability to assess trade-offs and identify client challenges that are suitable for generalization into platform capabilities.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Preferred: Experience with AI/LLM tools, including prompt engineering, agent frameworks, or automation processes.

• Preferred: Background in fintech, private markets, or enterprise SaaS.

• Preferred: Familiarity with document digitization, OCR, or workflows related to subscription form processing.

• Preferred: Prior experience in client-facing technical roles such as FDE, solutions engineering, implementation, or consulting.

• Preferred: Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams based in Vietnam or similar offshore environments.

• Must indicate current state of residence in the US.

• Must disclose if employment visa sponsorship is needed.
