Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop AI-ready data architectures utilizing Alteryx One, centered around cloud data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and AWS.

• Transform existing analytics workflows into deployable solution patterns that can be replicated across various customers.

• Execute lighthouse customer deployments that transition from pilot to production in approximately 90 days.

• Collaborate closely with systems integrators and consulting partners to facilitate partner-led delivery.

• Work in tandem with Sales Engineers and Product teams to validate solutions in production and provide structured product feedback.

• Develop documentation, reference architectures, and playbooks to ensure solutions can scale without the need for continuous FDE involvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in building data, analytics, or platform systems in a production environment.

• Practical experience with at least one major cloud data platform (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, or AWS).

• Experience in a technical, field-facing role working directly with enterprise customers.

• Strong expertise in analytics workflows, data pipelines, or analytics engineering.

• Proficiency in writing production workflows and lightweight code (mainly Python and SQL; APIs as required).

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture, governance, and cost considerations.
