This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Conduct thorough forensic investigations related to structural damage, defects, failures, moisture intrusion, and source evaluations, as well as premises liability claims and roofing issues.
• Execute site inspections and collect pertinent data to facilitate forensic analysis.
• Utilize engineering principles and methodologies to evaluate and address structural concerns.
• Create clear and detailed technical reports that summarize findings and conclusions.
• Provide expert testimony in legal situations when necessary.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and standards pertinent to structural engineering.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience in forensic engineering is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Experience providing expert testimony in legal proceedings is advantageous.
• U.S. Persons Only: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to ITAR export control regulations.
• Willingness to support cases in Mississippi and the surrounding regions.
• Open to traveling up to 25% of the time.
