This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify and attract new customers while enhancing demand for current accounts.
• Boost sales by adding more line-item placements.
• Independently generate leads and ensure comprehensive follow-up on assigned accounts.
• Initiate and manage sales processes with new clients.
• Offer guidance, assistance, and services to customers.
• Communicate and collaborate with administrative staff to manage customer credit terms.
• Understand and effectively communicate company policies and procedures.
• Attend and actively engage in sales meetings to remain informed and aligned with company objectives.
• Sell products at the highest profit margin while considering market dynamics and competitors' strategies.
• Monitor sales volumes, distribution margins, and related metrics.
• Report discrepancies and implement corrective measures to the Sales Manager and Sales Supervisor.
• Develop, maintain, and execute territory sales plans.
• Prepare quotes and manage complex bid responses.
• Utilize order and pricing guides effectively to enhance sales processes and ensure precision.
• Assist with daily promotional initiatives such as push and extra value items.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, retail, or perishable food sales.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Experience in seafood/protein (preferred).
• Bilingual skills (preferred).
