• Drive growth in designated territories and meet sales objectives.
• Become knowledgeable about our product range, customer requirements, and distribution channels.
• Present and sell products to existing and prospective clients while developing and nurturing relationships.
• Oversee opportunities and finalize the bidding process for foodservice accounts.
• Efficiently use the company’s CRM to monitor sales calls, opportunities, successes, campaigns, and forecasts.
• Recruit and manage the performance of sales brokers in the assigned territory, providing necessary training and support.
• Collaborate with the team to refine strategies, including market expansion, priorities, timing, and budgets.
• Develop sales strategies for assigned territories and work with brokers on pipeline strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributor representatives, organizing and conducting distributor training.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure territory forecasts are accurately represented in ingredient purchasing plans and finished goods volumes.
• Offer recommendations, provide feedback, and collaborate on product development initiatives.
• Organize and participate in conferences, meetings, and industry events to foster relationships with current and potential customers.
• Attend and engage actively in priority sales meetings and appointments.
• A minimum of two years of food service sales experience is required, with extensive food service industry connections preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor, valuing relationships and genuinely enjoying collaboration with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident and effective public speaking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving excellence.
• Adaptable and willing to undertake various tasks to support team objectives.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability, with the capability to be a self-starter and make autonomous decisions.
• Proficient in IT, including skills in GSuite.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Must maintain a current food handler’s permit and apply food safety knowledge as required.
• A genuine interest in the plant-based meat industry.
