Flow Cytometry Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct analyses of patient sample data utilizing a diverse array of flow cytometry assays through WinList and FCS Express.

• Adhere to approved analysis procedures, templates, and training resources specific to each assay.

• Acquire knowledge and proficiency in using established analysis software, gating templates, Excel reporting tools, and assay-specific documentation.

• Review processed patient sample data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Report any unusual findings or issues as necessary.

• Create, save, and manage patient sample result files in the required Excel and PDF formats.

• Analyze technical transfer data and produce corresponding Excel and PDF result files.

• Assist in evaluations against set acceptance criteria, including relevant CV% requirements.

• Collaborate with Scientists and team members regarding analysis inquiries, atypical data patterns, and considerations specific to assays.

• Uphold documentation, data integrity, and quality standards in alignment with departmental procedures and regulatory mandates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in flow cytometry analysis.

• Proficient in computer usage.

• Familiarity with laboratory information systems.

• Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

• Strong foundational knowledge of flow cytometry principles.

• Hands-on experience with FCS Express or similar analysis software.

• Capability to work independently as well as within a remote global team environment.

• Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business requirements.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and produce high-quality results under tight deadlines.

• Preferred: Two years of experience in flow cytometry analysis.

• Preferred: MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), CLS(NCA), or SCYM(ASCP) certification.

• Preferred: Experience with Excel automation (macros, formulas).
