Flow Cytometry Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate patient sample data across various flow cytometry assays utilizing WinList and FCS Express.

• Adhere to approved assay-specific analysis protocols, templates, and training documentation.

• Employ gating templates, Excel reporting tools, and assay-specific resources.

• Review processed patient sample data for precision and consistency, escalating any unusual findings.

• Create and maintain patient sample result files in both Excel and PDF formats.

• Analyze technical transfer data and compile the relevant Excel and PDF result files.

• Assist in evaluating against established acceptance criteria, including relevant CV% requirements.

• Collaborate with Scientists and team members regarding analysis inquiries, atypical data trends, and assay-specific factors.

• Uphold stringent documentation, data integrity, and quality standards in accordance with departmental procedures and regulatory guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in flow cytometry analysis.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as within a remote global team setting.

• Proficient in computer use.

• Familiarity with laboratory information systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

• Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness assessment.

• Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as business demands require.

• Strong understanding of flow cytometry principles.

• Practical experience with FCS Express or similar analysis software.

• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with outstanding problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

• Preferred: Two years of flow cytometry analysis experience.

• Preferred: MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), CLS(NCA), or SCYM(ASCP) certification.

• Preferred: Experience with Excel automation (macros, formulas).
