This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of flood claims on behalf of our clients.
• Oversee all assigned claims with minimal supervision.
• Make decisions on claims within the limits of your delegated authority.
• Analyze policy coverages and implement suitable claims practices.
• Set and communicate reserves in accordance with carrier expectations.
• Stay informed about the latest insurance policies, guidelines, and industry trends.
• Have a solid understanding of local construction methods, pricing, and repair standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all insured parties, clients, and stakeholders.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing property claims.
• Valid FCN Card for the current year.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Xactimate and Symbility estimating software.
• Strong comprehension of insurance policies, practices, and procedures.
• General construction knowledge is highly preferred.
• This position is categorized as an independent contractor role under IRS regulations and applicable state laws.
• You will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
• You have the autonomy to determine the manner, timing, and method of completing your work, in line with client expectations.
• You may offer services to other clients or entities, subject to relevant confidentiality or non-compete agreements.
