This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Examine every proposed clue to identify mistakes, inaccuracies, ambiguities, and unsuitable difficulty levels.

• Revise clues that lack clarity or cleverness.

• Create original clues for varying difficulty levels: easy, medium, and hard.

• Master formatting guidelines, including grid spacing, standard abbreviations, and brief two- to three-letter words.

• Verify each puzzle using the designated web interface, ensuring correct spelling, precision, uniqueness of answers, and consistent difficulty.

• Collaborate with your partner to establish a mutual style guide for fléchés and crossword puzzles.

• Partner with the crossword specialist in your tasks.

• A student of literature (modern or classical literature, linguistics, or a related discipline) eligible for an internship agreement.

• A strong enthusiasm for fléchés puzzles, with significant and ongoing experience and knowledge of the genre's classics and challenges.

• Flawless spelling skills.

• A broad vocabulary.

• A love for wordplay and double meanings.

• Self-sufficient and detail-oriented when working remotely.

• A cover letter is required, detailing your personal journey with fléchés puzzles.

• Submission of 5 to 10 original clues along with your application.
