Fire Safety Consultant – Zero Hour Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct Fire Risk Assessments

• Execute Fire Compartmentation & Integrity Surveys

• Perform Fire Door Inspections

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of recent experience in conducting thorough and comprehensive fire risk assessments

• Proficient knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

• Comprehensive understanding of building regulations and related fire safety requirements

• Familiarity with compartmentation in construction, including floors, walls, doors, fire stopping, penetration sealing products and techniques, and fire/smoke dampers

• In-depth knowledge of British Standards concerning fire safety and installations (including fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire safety signage, fire extinguishers, suppression systems, etc.)

• Capability to identify hazards and associated risks, offer guidance to eliminate or minimize risks to an acceptable level, and manage remaining risks

• Generate detailed reports using SOCOTEC UK Limited templates to fulfill project KPIs and standards
