This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Carry out servicing of fire pump systems according to the defined scope of work, ensuring that all servicing is completed thoroughly and meets high-quality standards.
• Generate detailed and precise servicing reports, including assessments of any necessary remedial actions to maintain the integrity of the fire systems for our clients.
• Undertake any required repairs on fire pump systems in accordance with the agreed scope of work with the client.
• Travel outside the local area as needed to meet client servicing requirements.
• Conduct monthly inventory checks on your vehicle to submit timely stock reports to our Stores department.
• Execute monthly PPE and vehicle inspections, providing timely documentation to our safety team.
• Respond to out-of-hours callouts as necessary.
• Maintain integrity and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Stay updated on changes and updates to standards, regulations, and best practices within the industry.
• Use and care for your vehicles and tools in accordance with company policy.
• Consistently adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Essential qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proficient in using handheld electronic devices to record information.
• Competent in utilizing standard office software packages such as Microsoft Outlook (email), Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Clean criminal record necessary for working in highly secure environments.
• Desirable, but not mandatory, as full training will be provided:
• CSCS certification.
• Asbestos awareness training.
• Confined space training.
• Electrical certification.
• Experience in the UK fire industry.
• Regular overtime at 1.5x pay (weekend shifts available for those interested).
• Company vehicle and fuel card provided.
