Fire Investigator – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conducts investigations and analyzes the origins and causes of fire and explosion incidents.

• Gathers evidence and documents scenes meticulously.

• Interviews witnesses and surveys surrounding areas.

• Identifies and records adherence to relevant codes.

• Composes precise and clear reports detailing damages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a fire investigator.

• IAAI CFI certification is mandatory or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.

• NAFI-CFEI certification is required.

• Must be bondable and eligible for private investigator licensing.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.

• Capability to operate effectively in catastrophic settings.

• Competence to safely drive a motor vehicle in a professional context.
