Fire Alarm Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Analyze fire alarm and AOV drawings and specifications as needed.

• Install, service, maintain, repair, and modify fire alarm and AOV systems.

• Execute comprehensive system installations and upgrades.

• Conduct scheduled servicing and inspections.

• Show proficiency with a variety of fire alarm control panels and equipment, including closed protocol systems.

• Ensure all tasks are in accordance with BS 7671 and BS 5839 regulations.

• Accurately complete all job reports and certifications using the Oneserve application.

• Operate safely and comply with current Health & Safety legislation and fire safety standards.

• Attend and successfully complete all company-sponsored training sessions.

• Engage in performance evaluations, improvement initiatives, and appraisals.

• Effectively communicate with office personnel and supervisors to address inquiries.

• Follow company KPIs and operational standards diligently.

• Perform any additional reasonable duties as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation.

• FIA training and certification.

• FIA AO Level 3 in Fire Detection and Alarm Design Theory and Regulatory Requirements.

• At least 5 years of experience in the fire safety sector.

• Full UK driving licence (must be held for a minimum of 12 months).
