FinOps Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create precise, real-time visibility into technology utilization and expenditures, facilitating informed decision-making.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for technology investments, ensuring predictability and accountability.

• Continuously seek and implement opportunities to reduce waste and enhance efficiency across cloud and technology services.

• Serve as a liaison between engineering, finance, and business teams to integrate cost-aware decision-making into delivery processes.

• Convert usage and billing data into actionable insights that impact architectural, operational, and investment choices.

• Foster a “cost ownership” culture by advocating for FinOps best practices, education, and accountability among teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or IT Financial Management.

• Proficient in optimizing cloud expenses across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

• Strong understanding of cloud billing, budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation.

• Practical experience with FinOps and cloud cost management tools.

• Excellent analytical skills with experience in generating reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.

• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams in Agile settings.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• FinOps or cloud certifications are advantageous.
