This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Vigilantly track cloud expenditures, promptly identify anomalies, and delve into root causes using a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
• Establish and uphold essential FinOps practices (tagging, cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting) to enhance accountability across various teams.
• Develop and sustain transparent oversight of cloud expenditures (AWS/GCP), converting usage data into straightforward, actionable reports for Finance and leadership.
• Discover opportunities for cost reduction (e.g., idle resources, overprovisioning, pricing models) and collaborate with Engineering to execute these implementations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to question decisions and foster cost-awareness in daily infrastructure selections.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or related fields with a strong analytical emphasis), Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Proficient in English, either at an advanced or fluent level.
• Extensive experience in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps), financial modeling for infrastructure, and variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual). Familiarity with IPaaS or SaaS business models is a notable advantage.
• Skilled in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker), advanced Excel/Google Sheets, and cloud-native billing tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or GCP Billing). SQL knowledge for data extraction is highly preferred.
