FinOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Seeking a Senior FinOps expert to spearhead cloud financial management within a large-scale, AWS-focused enterprise environment.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), platform, and finance teams to enhance cost transparency, optimize expenses, and ensure financial accountability.

• Facilitate the creation of secure, reliable, and scalable cloud platforms.

• Take ownership of AWS cloud cost optimization across compute, storage, networking, and managed services.

• Propel savings initiatives via Rightsizing, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and usage optimization strategies.

• Develop, implement, and advance FinOps governance frameworks.

• Create executive-level reports and dashboards utilizing AWS Cost Explorer, Cost & Usage Reports, and AWS Budgets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or Cloud Cost Optimization.

• Extensive hands-on knowledge of AWS cost management tools and services.

• Exceptional analytical abilities with the skill to convert data into executive insights.

• Experience in collaborating with Finance, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.

• Proven capability to influence senior technical and financial stakeholders.

• Background in managing large-scale, complex cloud environments.
