Financial Systems Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing the application environment throughout the organization, focusing on the daily operations of NetSuite and related financial systems to ensure optimal functionality, usability, and integration.

• Create and maintain documentation such as data model diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration diagrams, user manuals, and other application-related information.

• Convert business requirements into product backlogs, user stories, and business specifications to maximize the business value of applications and processes.

• Emphasize continuous process enhancement in alignment with departmental policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Engage in system testing and troubleshooting to address and resolve issues.

• Provide technical assistance and training to staff regarding the company's financial systems.

• Diagnose and resolve issues pertaining to financial systems.

• Serve as an intermediary between business users and IT teams to ensure system modifications or upgrades align with business objectives.

• Support the accounting and finance teams with inquiries related to projects or systems.

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to guarantee optimal system performance.

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial data within the systems.

• Keep abreast of the latest financial technologies and regulatory changes to offer suggestions and solutions for system enhancements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining financial systems.

• Strong project management capabilities and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

• Experience with the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, especially ERP systems with advanced inventory (e.g., NetSuite is required).

• Proficient in financial planning and analysis software (e.g., Oracle EPM).

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, emphasizing continuous improvement.

• Knowledge of fundamental GAAP accounting standards and concepts.
