This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Take ownership of our key financial systems, primarily NetSuite, with FloQast and Ramp set to launch, ensuring proper configuration, business logic, and daily system performance.
• Detect manual, repetitive, or error-prone financial operations (such as month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and procure-to-pay) and minimize or eliminate them via automation, prioritizing the simplest effective methods and collaborating with engineering for more complex solutions.
• Act as the expert in business logic and data within the finance domain, working alongside engineering to define and uphold the rules and standard definitions that the systems depend on.
• Develop cross-system integrations on a centralized, version-controlled, and observable integration platform in collaboration with engineering, rather than creating isolated scripts within individual tools.
• Serve as the primary systems liaison for Finance and Accounting by translating their requirements into system capabilities, managing those relationships, and taking on the technical responsibility for financial vendor onboarding, configuration, and administration.
• Utilize modern AI tools to create automations and expedite routine system tasks, enhancing your productivity without increasing manual workload.
• 3-6 years of experience managing a financial or ERP system, with required hands-on experience in NetSuite administration, including:
• configuration, customization, user access, roles, permissions, and workflows;
• core modules like General Ledger, Advanced Revenue Management, Accounts, and managing subsidiary/multi-location structures;
• designing and implementing custom records, fields, and automations;
• creating SuiteFlow automations to adapt to evolving business needs;
• overseeing the NetSuite integration ecosystem.
• A solid understanding of fundamental finance and accounting processes, including month-end close, reconciliation, accounts payable/procure-to-pay, and revenue management.
• A strong commitment to reducing repetitive manual tasks, with a proven history of automating such processes (e.g., through scripting, saved searches, workflow automation, or low-code/iPaaS tools).
• Good judgment regarding the appropriate placement of logic - determining what should be system configuration, what should be a cross-system integration, and identifying the primary source of truth for specific data points.
• Proficiency in at least one of SuiteScript, SQL, general scripting, or API-based automation, with the capability to comprehend and analyze integrations even when built by engineering.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across both finance and engineering teams, with the ability to bridge understanding between them.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Unlimited Vacation
• Flexible Working Options
• Health Insurance
• Parental Leave
• Employee Stock Option Plan
• Home Office Allowance
• Professional Development Stipend
• Peer Recognition Program
