Financial Systems Application Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute the maintenance, configuration, and daily administration of finance software applications globally for BETSOL's clientele.

• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of finance applications, minimizing disruptions during critical finance reporting periods.

• Play a key role in the implementation of new finance software applications, processes, and strategic technology transformations.

• Assume responsibilities of the Global Finance Applications Lead during planned absences.

• Direct the configuration of software applications and modules, including application settings, administrative configurations, and data migrations.

• Manage application role security in accordance with best practices and the global SOX control framework.

• Identify appropriate role security for new finance applications and lead regular control assessments with auditors.

• Handle user provisioning for finance applications and manage associated change request tickets.

• Serve as the primary resource for managing finance applications ticket boards.

• Collaborate with senior finance leadership to prioritize the change pipeline and address open tickets.

• Diagnose and resolve issues and outages related to finance software and integrations.

• Assist outsourced partners in monitoring system performance.

• Evaluate application updates and software releases.

• Organize and lead testing of affected processes with finance process owners.

• Aid in training staff on new finance technologies, processes, and systems.

• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.

• Provide support to internal and external auditors regarding finance applications and technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• 4–6 years of professional corporate experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

• At least 5 years of experience in managing or administering vendor-hosted cloud applications, preferably in finance.

• Familiarity with Coupa, Concur, Blackline, and Longview is preferred.

• Demonstrated resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven track record of supporting projects and collaborating with team members to achieve deliverables.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; or a demonstrable equivalent mix of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or professional experience.
