Financial Solutions Consultant – Adaptive ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Facilitate impactful and engaging client discovery sessions to reveal significant business challenges, strategic objectives, and operational constraints specifically related to financial processes, accounting, and compliance with regulations.

• Actively engage in the qualification phase, assessing prospect needs to ensure our Adaptive ERP and complementary solutions serve as the ideal engine for their financial requirements.

• Create, develop, and present compelling software demonstrations and executive presentations.

• Collaborate with the sales team—functioning as a cohesive, elite support unit—to devise tailored win strategies, formulate RFP/RFI responses, and navigate intricate technical evaluations.

• Uphold a superior level of knowledge regarding QAD’s suite of solutions, trends in the financial and accounting industry (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP), and the competitive landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over five years of experience in a sales environment focused on ERP solutions.

• Proven ability to sustain high morale and activity levels throughout lengthy sales cycles.

• A successful history in a customer-facing Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales role within the enterprise software (SaaS) sector.

• A robust understanding of financial and accounting principles, including the financial close process, General Ledger (G/L), and essential ERP Financial modules such as Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax Management, and Cost Management.

• The capability to think quickly, convert technical terminology into business value, and adapt efficiently during live, outcome-oriented demonstrations when circumstances change.

• Familiarity with Generative AI in the workplace to enhance task efficiency.
