This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Prepare annual, quarterly, and additional financial statements for clients.
• Assist with both internal and external evaluations of financial reporting documents.
• Compile and deliver necessary documentation to clients.
• Aid in Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) filings in compliance with regulatory timelines.
• Oversee communications with fund accounting teams and external auditors regarding financial reporting matters.
• Organize and lead kick-off meetings for client deliverables.
• Create materials relevant to mutual fund Board meetings.
• Contribute to specified sections of annual prospectus updates.
• Liaise with internal teams and client teams to address unresolved issues and queries.
• Collaborate with internal technology and vendor support to address production and system-support challenges.
• Engage in IMS and corporate professional development activities.
• Recognize processes and potential future solutions across the division and organization.
• BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in the mutual fund or alternative investment funds sector.
• Prior experience in financial statement preparation is preferred.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting capabilities are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
• Ability to manage multiple client deliverables while maintaining high standards of excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Willingness to expand knowledge of the financial services industry and learn new concepts and systems.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
