Financial Planning and Advice Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer subject matter expertise to a cohort of 25-30 online undergraduate students.

• Assist students in enhancing their academic writing, research, and time management abilities.

• Conduct one-on-one sessions for addressing queries, providing academic advice, and reviewing assessment drafts.

• Direct students to appropriate reference materials.

• Evaluate assessments and deliver comprehensive feedback.

• Oversee discussion forums.

• Deliver proactive, timely, and personalized support for student inquiries and challenges.

• Communicate with students promptly via email, calls, and online sessions.

• Facilitate the BAO6001—Principles of Personal Financial Planning and Advice course for students in Victoria University Online’s Masters of Financial Planning program.

• Assist students in analyzing client risk profiles and financial objectives, implementing investment theories and strategies, creating diversified portfolios, and preparing limited-scope Statements of Advice using relevant financial planning tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s Degree or higher in Financial Planning, along with 5 years of relevant teaching experience in an ASIC-approved financial planning program, and/or 5 years of experience as a Financial Planning Professional.

• Registration as a Financial Planning Advisor is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial and investment planning principles.

• Solid knowledge of the legal and ethical frameworks that govern financial advice and investment choices.

• Proficient in English, with exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• An empathetic, driven, warm, and approachable personality, eager to collaborate with individuals from diverse cultures.

• A functional laptop.

• Access to a stable high-speed internet connection (>10 MBPS).

• Ability to swiftly learn and utilize technology platforms, including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac.

• Availability between 5 pm and 10 pm daily.

• Candidate availability must be listed as 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm IST, every day of the week.
