Financial Planner, Client Management – Online Facilitation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer subject matter expertise to a cohort of 25–30 undergraduate online learners

• Assist students with academic writing, research skills, and effective time management

• Conduct personalized 1:1 sessions for doubt resolution, academic support, and assessment draft review

• Direct students to appropriate reference materials

• Evaluate assessments and deliver comprehensive feedback

• Oversee discussion forums

• Provide proactive, timely, and tailored assistance to student inquiries and concerns

• Communicate with students through email, phone calls, and virtual sessions

• Facilitate online education for students enrolled in the Masters of Financial Planning program at Victoria University Online

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree or higher in Financial Planning, along with 5 years of relevant teaching experience in an ASIC-approved financial planning course, and/or 5 years of professional experience in Financial Planning

• Mandatory possession of Registered Financial Planning Advisor Certification

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire financial planning process, including client data analysis, construction of statements of advice, and adherence to legal and ethical standards

• Proficiency in financial planning software, particularly XPLAN

• Skills in financial analysis, investment risk assessment, consulting, and analytical reasoning

• Strong decision-making abilities and aptitude for building and managing client relationships

• Proficient in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Capability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds

• Access to a functioning laptop

• Reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps

• Quick adaptability to learn and utilize technology platforms, including the host university's LMS and LINCtrac

• Availability from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM AEST every day of the week
