Financial Operations Recovery Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform audits on paid claims to identify overpayments utilizing systems-based queries, specialized reporting, and thorough research.

• Address intricate issues related to coordination of benefits, Medicare, and medical policies.

• Collaborate with personnel from various departments to guarantee customer satisfaction.

• Partner with contract managers to pinpoint and rectify contractual discrepancies.

• Engage in collection activities aimed at recovering overpayments.

• Oversee unprocessed cash, accounts receivable processes, and cash applications.

• Conduct research on voluntary refunds to ensure accuracy.

• Accurately balance all accounts.

• Identify, validate, recover, and adjust overpayments on claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• At least 2 years of experience in claims processing and/or customer service.

• A combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background is acceptable.

• Experience in commercial and government claims adjustment.

• Familiarity with WGS and/or Facets systems.

• An AA/AS degree or higher is preferred.
