This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and maintain financial models that support projects related to central utility, chilled water, renewable energy, and power infrastructure.
• Assess project economics, pricing strategies, capital structures, and financing options.
• Revise assumptions, verify inputs, and ensure the accuracy of project-level financial models.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses that encompass capacity, costs, revenues, financing assumptions, and regulatory influences.
• Compile financial analyses, reports, and presentation materials for executive leadership and project teams.
• Engage in meetings with internal stakeholders and external consultants, including legal advisors, tax specialists, accounting firms, lenders, and investors.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, development, and finance teams to gather data, confirm assumptions, and facilitate project implementation.
• Evaluate project and business performance while identifying opportunities for process enhancement and operational efficiency.
• Oversee financial databases, model documentation, and analytical tools.
• Analyze financial data and prepare analyses that support business planning and strategic decision-making.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field is required; alternatively, four years of directly related experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
• Exceptional analytical abilities.
• Proficient in developing and utilizing comprehensive Excel-based financial models.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledgeable about the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Ability to multitask and take on responsibilities beyond the primary scope of work when necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• VBA experience is preferred.
• Relevant experience in corporate finance, project finance, investment banking, or fixed income is preferred.
• Comfortable operating in a high-growth environment with shifting priorities and competing demands.
• 0-15% travel may be required.
• Capability to perform physical activities and light work involving objects up to 20 pounds.
