This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Delivers expert support for conducting analyses and analytical experiments utilizing both structured and unstructured data.
• Assesses alternative models through theoretical methodologies.
• Discovers and leverages data assets to create new insights and business value.
• Develops analyses and models aimed at enhancing customer and operational Key Process Indicators (KPIs).
• Increases measurable value for the Agency and its clientele.
• Constructs predictive models and designs advanced algorithms that extract and categorize information from extensive datasets.
• Evaluates data and formulates robust statistical and predictive algorithms/models that influence product outcomes.
• Recognizes significant patterns and trends, unveiling new business prospects.
• Converts findings into clear, actionable insights that address real business inquiries.
• Collaborates with systems such as Acquire to Retire (A2R), Cost Accounting (CA), User Management (UMX), Time & Labor (T&L), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), Budget to Report (B2R), and Custom Application Development (CAD) Support Services.
• Develops data conversion templates, pre/post conversion checklists/steps, data conversion design documentation, data conversion status reports, and data conversion migration strategies.
• Offers expertise in COOP development and execution, including disaster recovery planning, testing, support, recovery restoration, and system reconstitution.
• Will analyze financial and ERP datasets.
• Works with hosting provider teams, including Systems Engineers, Network Engineers, and Continuity/Disaster Recovery Teams.
• Executes COOP exercises such as tabletop, simulation/remote recovery, and full failover drills.
• Maintains and enhances the DAI Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP).
• Analyzes and upgrades COOP designs to align with software enhancements and technical modifications.
• Assesses new technologies like Oracle Golden Gate for COOP environment re-architecture.
• Eligibility to secure a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance (Basic Federal Clearance prerequisites include U.S. Citizenship, a clean criminal history, and no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• Must possess an IAM III Certification: CISM, CISSP, GSLC.
• Must currently hold or be willing to obtain one of the following certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations 2020 Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Administrator, Oracle Java SE 8 Programmer I, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Essentials (OEM 12c), Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) 12c R1: Fundamentals, Oracle Planning 202x Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Oracle Identity Governance 12c: Essentials.
• Must have a master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Must possess 5+ years of relevant and practical experience with SAS, data processing, and data analytics.
• Must have extensive experience in data mining and statistical analysis.
• Experience supporting DoD Federal Oracle shared service providers on an Oracle EBS R12.2 platform or higher.
• Must be willing and able to travel to the client site in Washington, DC approximately 25% of the time annually.
