This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.

• Prepare and assess financial statements.

• Oversee key accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Capitalization, Expense Management, and Corporate Credit Cards.

• Develop, implement, and oversee internal controls.

• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA certification (or equivalent).

• Over 5 years of increasing responsibility in accounting.

• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS and CAD GAAP).

• Experience with audit and compliance procedures, as well as managing external consultants.

• Bilingual in English and French.
