This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert financial guidance and advice that aligns with business objectives and decision-making processes.

• Conduct research, evaluation, and interpretation of financial data utilizing both advanced and emerging financial methodologies and tools.

• Offer consulting services to internal stakeholders through various projects and corporate initiatives.

• Serve as the primary point of contact with designated business project teams and partners.

• Ensure the successful attainment of project objectives and targets.

• Develop, design, test, and document modifications or enhancements to systems.

• Collaborate with departments for services rendered by external organizations, including benchmarking, examinations, and audits.

• Lead, facilitate, and oversee the financial components of large, intricate projects and departmental initiatives.

• Investigate and convey the financial ramifications of reorganizations, benchmark analyses, changes in reporting entities, and mergers/acquisitions.

• Assess complex financial data and draw valid conclusions.

• Create and implement financial analytical and reporting systems.

• Prepare and deliver written and verbal reports.

• Formulate automated forecasts and budgets.

• Design and execute sophisticated corporate and finance projects.

• Produce cost justifications, proposals, risk assessments, business plans, and cost-benefit analyses.

• Evaluate statistical and financial data against peers, industry benchmarks, corporate targets, and historical performance.

• Analyze product profitability, pricing structures, and other intricate mathematical data.

• Create and implement business simulations and models.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.

• Experience equivalent to a senior role in Finance/Accounting or related sectors.

• Proficiency in developing complex financial models using macros and advanced spreadsheet tools like Excel.

• Familiarity with software applications and reporting tools, including Microsoft Office.

• Experience overseeing less senior team members in the quality of their outputs.

• Skill in analyzing technical issues and complex financial data.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing medium to large-scale projects.

• Strong problem identification and resolution techniques.

• Experience in developing automated forecasts and budgets.

• Background in designing and executing complex corporate/finance projects.

• Expertise in preparing cost justifications, proposals, and risk assessments.

• Experience in drafting business plans, proposals, and cost-benefit analyses for strategic long-term initiatives.

• Ability to assess statistical and financial data in comparison to peers, industry standards, corporate goals, and historical data.

• Experience in analyzing product profitability, pricing, and intricate mathematical data.

• Proven capability in developing and implementing business simulations/models.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex financial data.

• Ability to develop and implement financial analytical and reporting systems.

• Effective communication skills within a professional setting.

• Competence in preparing and presenting both written and oral reports.

• Excellent organizational, planning, time-management, and administrative abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clearly presenting complex information to all levels of employees, including senior executives.

• Preferred: Over 5 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Consulting.

• Experience in developing Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBAs), business cases, and investment recommendations.

• Exceptional financial modeling skills, including IRR, NPV, ROI, and payback analysis.

• Familiarity with capital budgeting, forecasting, and project financial oversight.

• Ability to identify and validate efficiency improvements, productivity gains, and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) savings.

• Experience in conducting post-implementation reviews and benefits realization assessments.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Adaptive Planning, or similar financial planning tools.

• Experience with capital governance, investment committees, or enterprise transformation initiatives is preferred.

• Ability to perform the essential duties and functions of the role.

• Successful completion of necessary background checks and drug screening after a job offer.
