Financial Analytics Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Oversee data that supports the daily operations, strategic planning, and business performance evaluations.

• Design, implement, and sustain Part D risk score analytics within the Medicare Risk Adjustment Finance Department.

• Assist in financial forecasting, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making processes.

• Utilize Excel, SQL, and Power BI for modeling and analyzing results.

• Ensure the accuracy of models is maintained over time.

• Convert analytical results into clear business insights.

• Articulate the financial implications of changes in Part D risk scores to business partners and leadership.

• Detect outdated assumptions and integrate updated data or methodologies into model improvements.

• Clarify complex model outputs in a manner relevant to business.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• 5 years of technical experience.

• Proficient programming skills in languages such as SQL.

• Proven experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting, and analyzing data to identify, explain, and influence variances and trends.

• Background in explaining variances and trends while enhancing modeling techniques.

• Experience managing data to support operational, strategic planning, and business performance evaluations.

• Strong passion for continuously enhancing consumer experiences.

• Willingness to travel to Louisville, KY, less than 5% of the time if not local.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Preferred: financial or actuarial background.

• Preferred: experience with Power BI.
