This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to facilitate business planning and informed decision-making.
• Utilize accounting principles to assess financial data and generate reports.
• Create and maintain financial models for forecasting and trend analysis purposes.
• Compile monthly summaries of expenses and direct costs, accompanied by supporting analysis.
• Track financial performance metrics and identify emerging trends or discrepancies.
• Evaluate payment arrangements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal financial performance.
• Carry out auditing and reporting tasks.
• Assist in business planning and decision-making processes at Trillium Health Resources, a Tailored Plan and Managed Care Organization serving 46 counties across North Carolina.
• High school diploma or GED with six (6) years of experience in accounting, finance, business, or financial analysis, which includes analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports or preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations; OR an Associate's degree with four (4) years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of applicable experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Candidates must reside within North Carolina.
• Ability to travel within the designated catchment area as needed.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Preferred: At least two (2) years in public accounting or four (4) years in accounting roles within the private or public sector.
• Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or actively pursuing certification.
• Preferred: Experience with healthcare claims payment processing, provider payment operations, financial reconciliations, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar financial systems.
