Financial Analyst – Business Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Financial Business partner for the designated Department.

• Evaluate and analyze all new customer proformas and provide recommendations.

• Collaborate as a financial business partner with the Business Development Team (Sales, Marketing, Insights and Analytics, and New Product Distribution).

• Deliver analysis and after-action reports on new products and profitability reports for new customers.

• Examine and report on profitability and margin trends as required.

• Support Sales and Marketing in developing business cases for new customers, new items, and territory expansion.

• Analyze and contribute to discussions regarding the impact of price increases.

• Assist the new product development team with break-even analyses, new product profitability assessments, and the creation of financial models to monitor all innovative items.

• Conduct market sizing activities to identify revenue opportunities.

• Offer creative alternatives and recommendations for cost reduction and enhanced financial performance for all products and clients.

• Carry out budgeting variance and forecasting analyses for various management levels.

• Aid staff by providing necessary information for budget preparation, implementation, and control.

• Assist with all Board of Director presentations and ad hoc analyses as needed.

• Develop models and presentations for the Monthly financial review, which will be shared with the Executive Team each month.

• Compile and summarize intricate reports on financial status, risks, and trends.

• Collaborate closely with Finance Leadership and the CFO on various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is required.

• Advanced proficiency with enterprise-level accounting software and Office 365 applications, including but not limited to Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience with Power BI and OneStream is preferred but not mandatory.
