This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Analyze financial outcomes, recognize trends, and clarify discrepancies compared to budget, forecasts, and previous periods.
• Create ad hoc analyses and reports concerning company performance metrics, key initiatives, and strategic decisions.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and financial inputs across various departments.
• Collaborate with business leaders to collect, validate, and analyze the assumptions utilized in forecasts and budgets.
• Maintain and support budgeting and planning tools, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.
• Aid in quarterly forecasting and reforecasting activities.
• Perform cash flow analysis and reporting to facilitate financial planning and decision-making.
• Gather, organize, and analyze data from diverse sources to provide actionable business insights.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, financial analysis, and data accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, accounting, investment banking, or a related area.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret large datasets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences.
• Experience with financial planning and budgeting processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with planning tools such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
• Experience in a private equity-backed company or investment banking is a plus.
