Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Consolidate and compile data from various source systems to complete the standard monthly operational reporting.

• Accurately prepare and deliver the monthly SSOT (Single Source of Truth) reporting package in a timely manner.

• Generate and present monthly Flash reports for leadership.

• Create and sustain financial models, analyzing critical drivers, trends, and variances to assist with forecasting, planning, and evaluating partner and program performance.

• Reconcile data across various systems and reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Develop expertise in Planful and other FP&A reporting tools.

• Collaborate with Finance & Analytics team members to facilitate monthly and quarterly closing and reporting processes.

• Identify and address reporting and data discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.

• Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses for Finance leadership and distill data into actionable insights.

• Acquire knowledge of new tools, processes, and reporting concepts and apply them autonomously.

• Work with the Finance & Analytics team to achieve common deadlines and objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in consolidating and aggregating data to enhance financial or operational reporting.

• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to develop and maintain financial models.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with FP&A or reporting software like Planful.

• Knowledge of SQL or data platforms such as Databricks.

• Background in higher education, ed-tech, or a similar field.
