Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

• Fully accountable for the annual budget procedure, subsequently handing it over to the International Controller and VP of Finance for final assessment.

• Gathers data related to revenue by item, cost of goods, royalties and commissions, departmental expenses, capital expenditures, cash flow, and balance sheet.

• Oversees the budget database and implements updates as necessary.

• Tasked with collecting assumptions related to the budget for each entity.

• Investigates potential enhancements in budget control practices.

• Develops five-year forecasts.

• Generates revenue and financial forecasts on a quarterly basis or as required.

• Responsible for the preparation of international financial statements.

• Submits statements to the International Controller for review.

• Provides assistance to the VP of Finance with treasury functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Proficiency in preparing annual budgets.

• Experience in analyzing the company's financial statements.

• Familiarity with complex general ledger tasks related to month-end closing and reporting processes.
