Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create reports for bids and budgeting processes

• Evaluate modifications in Medicare regulations

• Assist with Stars financial reporting

• Generate, update, and enhance financial models

• Forge strong relationships with business partners

• Work collaboratively with teams in Stars Analytics and Medicare Risk Adjustment

• Convert intricate financial and non-financial data into clear, presentation-ready insights for management decision-making

• Gather raw data from various databases and summarize it effectively

• Develop and sustain process documentation

• Utilize SAS, SQL, and Excel on a regular basis

• Clarify variances and trends

• Improve modeling techniques

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Over 3 years of technical experience

• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python

• Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting, and analyzing data to identify, explain, and influence variances and trends

• Proven track record of enhancing modeling techniques

• Experience in managing data to support and influence decisions related to daily operations, strategic planning, and business performance issues

• Commitment to contributing to an organization that prioritizes enhancing consumer experiences

• Familiarity with Power BI and Databricks (preferred)

• Financial or actuarial background (preferred)

• Experience with Medicare Advantage and/or Stars (preferred)

• Access to home internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload

• Capability to work from a dedicated space without interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information
