Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies; verify and consolidate planning information.

• Create variance analyses that compare actual outcomes with budget expectations and identify critical factors.

• Develop financial models and analyses that support operational, capital, and investment choices.

• Generate ROI, payback, NPV, and other financial assessments for proposed projects.

• Produce regular financial reports and dashboards; summarize insights and recommendations.

• Aid in month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including accruals and account evaluations.

• Perform economic research and analysis on return rates, depreciation, working capital, and the effects of regulations/reimbursements.

• Address ad hoc analytical inquiries and assist with due diligence for acquisitions or new projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in Excel, encompassing formulas, pivot tables, and financial models.

• Solid understanding of financial concepts, including financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Capable of organizing data, adhering to deadlines, and working under supervision.

• Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis; internships are considered.

• Preferred: Experience in financial modeling or valuation.

• Preferred: Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar software.
