Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Perform financial analysis to aid client engagements, strategic initiatives, and internal decision-making processes.

• Engage in client meetings to grasp financial and regulatory standings, outline analysis goals, and set deliverables.

• Partner with banking clients to collect necessary data and inputs for analysis.

• Develop, update, and manage financial models to project performance, assess risk, and facilitate capital planning.

• Conduct loan-level and portfolio-level analysis while preparing reports, dashboards, and deliverables for clients.

• Assist in the presentation and communication of analytical results to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with clients continuously to aid in the implementation and integration of analytical insights.

• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.

• Support budgeting, long-term planning, and forecast revisions in response to evolving business conditions and market dynamics.

• Recognize financial risks and contribute to strategies for mitigation.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls.

• Work cross-functionally on operational and strategic projects.

• Convey financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability within the finance department.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Typically, 1-4 years of experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting.

• Proficient in financial software and tools, including Excel, SQL, and financial planning applications.

• Strong analytical abilities, with a focus on utilizing data to evaluate situations, identify issues, and formulate effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
