This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with finance and program leadership on key initiatives that support U.S. diplomatic operations.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for designated programs.
• Gather, review, reconcile, and validate financial data from various sources.
• Analyze outcomes, track variances, identify trends, and provide recommendations to management.
• Reconcile transactions and rectify data discrepancies.
• Develop, maintain, and update financial models, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Create project documentation and oversee project setups throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure records and documentation adhere to controls, contracts, and Federal acquisition regulations.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, procedures, and government regulations.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation or recovery strategies.
• Assist with monthly reporting, including commentary on sales and earnings variances.
• Prepare invoice backup packages, Limitations of Funds notifications, and various customer deliverables on an ad-hoc basis.
• Support the review of cost proposals, contract modifications, and special projects.
• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and lookup functions.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS, Oracle Hyperion, or comparable financial systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to effectively present financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Eligibility to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
