Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Verify that invoices from subcontractors and suppliers are accurately checked, coded, and processed.

• Monitor costs on both a per-project and company-wide basis to maintain awareness of our profit margins.

• Generate timely management accounts and cash flow statements that empower directors to make well-informed decisions.

• Protect our cash flow by overseeing our debtor and creditor ledgers, including managing our 22-day billing cycle with insurers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in a financial analyst or management accountant position.

• Extensive experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.

• Strong grasp of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

• Hands-on experience in supporting month-end closing processes.

• Comprehensive understanding of job costing or project-based accounting.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Keen attention to detail and robust organizational abilities.

• Adaptability in a fast-paced, growing business environment where processes are still evolving.

• Professional qualification such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent.

• Experience in the insurance, construction, remediation, or property services industries.

• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).

• Background in supporting a business through rapid growth or operational transformations.

• Prior experience as a fractional or portfolio finance professional.
